about

Maybe a good place to start: "Retrospekt" is an introduction to Clarinette in the form of a retrospective collection featuring tracks and fragments of tracks from every album leading up to "Clarinette On DNA". The album features a few unreleased tracks as well including the piano only track from Transmuting Fall's The Best Minds Of My Generation, a yet to be titled track edit (when released, 'title pending' will clock in at just over 24 minutes and, of course, have found a title) and two tracks which will not appear elsewhere, "Deconstructing Tomorrow" and "Plum Walks Across The Keyboard" which in fact was not performed by Clarinette but rather the cat Plumquat, walking across an multi-voice electric keyboard and simultaneously changing the voices with 2 feet and striking keys with the other two...true Cagean chance in action.

Clarinette has been an active recording project since. ... more
